I'm Janice Devlin, founder of RBF Cosmetics. And for years, I struggled with psoriasis. If you've ever tried to find a self-tan that doesn't irritate, streak, or make your skin look worse than before you started — you'll know exactly how I felt. The options were limited. The results were disappointing. And the ingredients lists? Not exactly reassuring for sensitive, compromised skin.
So I did what any stubborn woman with a point to prove would do. I made my own.
The Name
RBF stands for Resting Bitch Face. Because life's too short for brands that take themselves too seriously. We're real, we're a little bit bold, and we make products that actually work — especially for skin that's been through it. The name stuck. And honestly, so did the attitude.
It Started With the Tan
I formulated the first RBF self-tan myself — a streak-free, skin-kind formula built specifically for sensitive and problematic skin. No harsh chemicals. No compromise on colour. Just a gorgeous, even glow that works for real skin, not the airbrushed kind you see in adverts.
It worked. People noticed. Word spread. And RBF Cosmetics became a real, actual thing.
